Vietnam striker might not join a France club since he has not finish paper documents to do his trial as planned.
Right after Cong Phuong’s farewell to Incheon, HAGL arranged for Cong Phuong to be employed in Clermont Foot 63 in Clermont-Ferrand, France- a team playing in the second-tier Ligue II. This team finished 10th in the table after 38 rounds last season and was lack of 15 points to get a play-off ticket. Clermont Foot FC’s transfer value is around 16,3 million Euro.
According to the initial plan, Cong Phuong is set to fly to France on June 24 and start his job right away yet he still head to Pleiku and trains with his teammates in HAGL. Speaking with Bong Da press, HAGL team leader Hoang Tuan Anh said the process is still going on, he cant tell specific time or plan for Cong Phuong.
Thereby, Cong Phuong schedule to Clermont Foot will be back off a few days to finish visa procedure.
Going to France will be the second trip of Cong Phuong this year. Four month in Incheon was not successful yet brought him valuable experience. Cong Phuong is expected that he will gain some chances to do more here.
