Alongside the time annoucing the squad list for King’s Cup, VFF recently released the official names joining U23 team in the friendly match with U23 Myanmar in Phu Tho. Of the names in the list, there are some familiar names including goalie Bui Tien Dung, Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc, Trieu Viet Hung,... and Martin Lo.
Martin Lo, the Australian Vietnamese player, joined Pho Hien FC in V-League 2. He scored 3 goals in 8 matches and proved to be an important player for Pho Hien position on the table. The impressive performance put him in the U23 Vietnam squad list, promising to bring new wind.
Vietnam former head coach said he put much faith on him, he believed that Martin Lo deserved a place in U23 Vietnam
“I often watch Martin playing in V-League 2. Despite not being outstanding in strength, he possesses good technique and vision. His strength is aggressive play and good long-shot skill. I think this will be the face that promises to bring many breakthroughs to U23 Vietnam match against U23 Myanmar”.
